Ah, we saw this one coming! Amy Childs is releasing her own fragrance…

Amy Childs is about to follow in the footsteps of celebs such as Katie Price, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Peter Andre and… well just about hundreds of famous faces really, as she’s releasing her own fragrance.

The reality star confirmed the news in her ‘New!” magazine column this week saying that her debut solo pong will be available in the shops later this year, however as yet its got no name. She said:

“I’m bringing out my own perfume! I’m so excited. It’s some thing I’ve wanted to do for a long time as I love perfume and all things girly. Now it’s finally happening.

“We are aiming to have it out by August, but it’s all in the early stages. It hasn’t even got a name yet, so any suggestions are welcome!”

So she’s got her own fragrance and a new reality show with cousin Harry Derbidge. Well, actually no not quite; on the subject of that TV project she wrote:

“The story about Harry and I making a UK version of The Simple Life isn’t strictly true. But we are working on various projects together and there is talk of doing some kind of show.”

That’s a shame, because even Paris Hilton herself was apparently tantalised by the prospect of the programme. Amy claims the socialite messaged her recently after hearing about plans for the show.

“Last week, Paris Hilton sent me a message on Twitter saying she really likes me” wrote Amy. “She said she’d read that I was making a TV show like The Simple Life and she wanted to wish me luck, and can’t wait to meet me when she comes to London!”

“I replied to say I loved her show and would really like to meet her, too.”

A meeting between Paris and Amy eh? Now that sounds like it could be a reality show all on its own.
